Narrow path is just about ridable as far as the Thelwall Viaduct.

Path peters out into a field

Tarmac surface track on narrow neck of land between River Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal. A nice (if unofficial) cycle route beween Warrington and Runcorn.

Suspension foot bridge across the Mersey. A useful link between Warrington Waters cycle route #84860 and the Black Bear Park #83680 via Victoria Park.

Path is wider, less enclosed and better surfaced here than at #84244 so more suitable for cycling.

Warrington "strategic route 5" goes down this narrow footpath. It is the weak link in an otherwise good direct route.
